MERA also has an internal department of Hygiene & Quality. This internal department audits all of our processes, from receiving to delivering the final product to the customer, including laboratory analysis of ice and food, on a monthly basis, along with temperature records gathered on a daily shift basis, to ensure the quality of our food and most importantly, the safety and trust of our customers.

Distintivo H

We have received the recognition of “Distintivo H”, an official certification granted by the Secretary of Tourism and validated by the Secretary of Health with respect to the most important requirements for hygiene regulations in food and beverage handling. "Distintivo H" is the equivalent of the Hazard Analysis and Critital Control (HACCP) program in Mexico.
